Nietzsche’s Zarathustra loves only what has been written using his own blood.
“Write with blood: and you will learn that blood is spirit!”
This is the spirit that animated the composition of this series of surgical sheets where the writing, becoming ornamental, refers to the image of a spine. Letters, painted by the artist with his own blood, that cut the drape and quote alchemical mottos reflecting on the concept of care and self-awareness.
