JUDGE-MENTAL (torture)

Plaster casts of more than 300 fingers (right hand’s index), 2018-in progress.

Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged, and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you.
Mt 7,1-5

We live by judging and consequently we are afraid of being judged, but the sense of what is right and wrong is only the result of the human mind. An almost Lombrosian taxonomy of pointed fingers, the plaster casts of more than 300 different indices, covers the two main walls of the space which, testifying to this sense of judgment whose multiformity generates mirroring, such as The Iron Maiden, becomes a machine torture.
